After you perform your search and select a document, you have the option of requesting either a regular copy or a certified copy.
If you select a regular copy, the document will be available immediately for download.
If you select a certified copy, the document will be referred to the Register of Deeds staff who will review your order and authorize certification of the document. Once certification is approved, you will receive an email with a link to download your certified copy.
The certified copy will contain a certification stamp like this one:
You will be able to print the document and present it as a legal certified copy. Notice there’s a reference to a link to verify the authenticity of your certified copy. The receiving authority can access this link if they have any questions about the validity of your copy.
