Cuyahoga County Related Documents

Cuyahoga County Ohio has a new option that improves our related documents feature.  We've always shown related documents (sometimes called Marginal References) in our Summary View tab in the Document Viewer.  In most cases, the marginal references are hyperlinks.   When you click on the related document hyperlink, we'll display the related document.  Then after viewing the related document you can click Return to Previous Document to go back to the original.

Related Documents are other recorded documents that are associated with the original document.  For example, a Deed may have a Mortgage as a related document.  Or a Deed could be related to a Lien or a Release of Lien.

In Cuyahoga's Cloud Search, we've added Related Documents to the Result List Table View and Card View.  This allows you to immediately see when a document is linked to a related document.  To view the related document, using your mouse, hover over the document number in the References column.  One or more related document numbers will be shown.  Each of those is a hyperlink which you can click on to view the related document.
