Finding your Marriage License

The best way to find your marriage license is by using Quick Search. Select the Marriage department. The Marriage Dept contains marriage licenses issued and recorded in Bexar County. 

 Type in both applicant names to get the best results, or type in the information that you know. Enter in the name that you provided when purchasing your license. Quick Search is a word search so you enter your name Last Name first or First Name first. The search is not case sensitive.

In the following example I typed in Hector Garcia and Santiago Hernandez. You will not have to use "and" or commas when searching against both names.

Click on the row to view/download your image. If you need a certified copy then you will need to contact the county.

( Note: Marriage licenses issued by foreign entities are referred to as foreign marriages and are recorded and searched within the Land Records Dept.)
